About the chapter:

Flow of thought from sentence to sentence is important to develop from grammar to communication. After learning to build a continuation from sentence to sentence it is also important to develop a flow. It is not a single thought, instead it is a flow of thoughts which will be complicated also. Linking of the statements is also needed for which we have developed connectors. Bringing out an idea, proper elaboration, proper summarising and at last transfer of proper knowledge also matters which is considered as the ultimate goal.

Things I knew before:

I knew that proper explanation has to be given for our ideas in order to make it to reach people. But how to implement it practically is clear only after reading this chapter. I also knew that there must be proper flow of thought from one sentence to other.

Difficulties in solving:

While doing the exercise I found that proper idea of the concepts has to be developed in order to understand the basic meaning of the concept. Then elaboration and summarizing is also important in order to solve.

Application to other subjects:

The concept can be applied in the subjects that we study because each and every needs proper understanding, summarising, evaluating and finally transfer of knowledge to the reader.

Chapter 9

About the chapter:

Clarity is very important and hence clarity principle has to be implemented. This concept is more important in picture images because an image gives more than one meaning so the clarity principle has to be applied here. Each of the image will give new opportunities which also creates different meanings from a single sentence. Sometimes writer also brings different expectations to the reader and at the end gives turning points which a reader would not have expected to happen. In such cases proper understanding of the statements is important to know the exact meaning behind.

Things I knew before:

I knew that few sentences will have more than one meaning but after reading the chapter I understood to differentiate the different meanings within a statement and also to some extent learnt to bring out the underlying meaning.

Difficulties in working:

While working out the exercises  in the beginning I found it difficult to understand the meanings exactly but after solving few I developed few ideas which made me to track out things easily. Even though author gives different meaning in the beginning later the concept could be brought out.

Application to other subjects:

The concept can be applied to different subjects whom we study so that we can learn to understand the correct meaning of the concepts.

Chapter 8

About the chapter:

The ultimate aim of writing sentences is that we want our readers to clearly understand what we are going to express. But if writer wants to tell something and reader takes it in different manner then the purpose will not remain. So clear and proper understanding is important for which simplicity has to be considered and monotony has to be reduced. The main problem is with the picture word which gives more than one meaning so while trying to create a new image then more importance has to be given because there is a chance that the meaning may be different.

Things I knew before:

I knew that main goal of writing is to communicate properly with the people. But how exactly it has to be done is clearly understood by reading the chapter. I also knew that the information that we want to express must me properly brought out to retain the purpose.

Difficulties in solving:                                                                                         

While working out the exercises I found that creating image of few sentence has to be given much important. Because images give more than one meaning.

The blog can be improved by this because we will have an idea about how we must frame sentences in order to reach people. If it is simple and clear then it will give positive impact.

Application to other subjects:

This concept can also be applied in our subjects because the ultimate aim is to make people comfort in reading .

Chapter 7

Simplicity is important which makes statements apparent. Simple and clear. But when there is more simplicity there arise a concept of monotony which is dangerous. When the image in all cases give the same meaning and when all actors and actions are the same then it will be difficult for the readers to understand the actual meaning. As a result simplicity must be designed in order to maintain the actual meaning of the sentence.

I knew that simplicity is needed while forming sentences and from this chapter I came to know that preventing monotony is also important in order to maintain the actual meaning of simplicity. If there is more monotony then it will be difficult to understand the concepts.

While solving the exercise I found that if the concept of the chapter is not correctly analysed then it is not easy to solve as the concept so simplicity and monotony are complex.

While writing the blogs I found it difficult to bring out the exact meaning of the above mentioned concepts. After reading the chapter it turned to be easy.

The concepts can be applied in our rest of our subjects as maintaining simplicity and controlling monotony is important.

Chapter 6

It is important that a sentence must be simple, clear and predictable. In order to make it so the sentence must be in a position that is easily understandable without any confusions .It is necessary to make it easy to read by the readers and one thing that we have to keep in mind is that if initial sentences are not clear them the thoughts will be messed. Over crowded images and words has to be properly arranged. Reader first tries to bring out the image out of the phrase and then try to bring out the meaning from it.

I knew that simple sentences are much better than complicated sentences because if sentences are simple and clear then it will be easy to read. But if the sentences are more complicated then it is difficult to understand the exact meaning.

While learning the exercises I found that if the statements are small then it is easy to work out but if the sentences are difficult then it is quite difficult to understand.

The concepts learnt here can be used in our blog so that we can make our blogs easier than complicated.

The concepts can also be implemented to other subjects which help us to learn the concepts in a better way.

Chapter 5

Understanding the part of the thought is important in order to have the continuation with the next sentence. So it is necessary to put them in a right manner. That is clear from this chapter. Flow of thought is important along with that retaining the meaning is also important. Considering the length is important because to maintain the flow of thought .In framing sentences connecting words will play a very important role.

I knew that flow of thought is important otherwise reader will not be able to get the actual meaning and will not be interested to read further. It is not necessary to make long sentences ,instead meaningful sentences have to be made to extract the proper meaning and to have healthy competition.

While solving the exercise I found that making others to understand what a reader wants is difficult and making a thought to flow continuously is also difficult.

The blog can be improved by implementing the studied concepts here.

The concepts can also be applied in our other subjects as thought flow is necessary for all the concepts to be produced.

Chapter 4

We have learnt to put picture words and connecting words together to make sentences much clear. Now linking connectors are important to link one sentence to other. Linking of  words and linking of sentences is important to retain the exact meaning of the statement. When mind is over loaded then it is difficult for the readers to understand. Hence linking connecters are used which makes the usage better.

I knew that proper making of sentence without making any grammar errors is important. But I did not know that how linking connectors will exactly work which I came to know only after learning this chapter.

While solving the questions I found that linking statements is not that easy and proper understanding is necessary in solving the questions.

After reading this chapter I could write my blog more better linking words and sentences in a proper manner which also made me to improve my blog.

To other subjects we can also use the in formations from this chapter so that linking becomes easier.
